Families looking to make their trick-or-treat night extra memorable are in for a frightful treat in Linwood this Halloween, as local pet shop Proexotics hosts a free reptile handling session.
The event, taking place on Friday 31st October from 7pm to 8.30pm, will be held opposite the Mossedge Village entrance in Linwood — with plenty of spooky decorations to set the scene.
Proexotics, a reptile-specific pet shop based in Paisley, is running the event to help children realise that reptiles aren’t as scary as they might think.
Shannon Jones, who works at Proexotics, told Renfrewshire News: “Our free event is to help kids realise that reptiles aren’t as bad as they think. We’ll have reptile handling on the night with a huge selection of snakes, cockroaches, giant snails, and the star of the show — a huge 16ft Burmese python.”
Proexotics can be found at 65 Causeyside Street, Paisley.
