Paisley’s nightlife is gearing up for one of its biggest evenings of the year as internationally renowned dance act Ultrabeat prepare to perform in the town for the very first time.
The chart-topping group, famous for their Clubland anthems and festival-filling sets, will headline an exclusive event at Shuttle Paisley on Friday, 5th December.
The night will see Ultrabeat deliver a special festive set as part of a back-to-back performance with promoter and DJ Darren “S”, who has been instrumental in bringing the act to Paisley for their long-awaited debut.
Before DJ Darren “S” takes to the decks ahead of the headliners, a strong lineup of homegrown DJs will get the night underway. Local favourites Mark Friel, Graeme Lindsay and Neil Bartlett are confirmed to perform, showcasing the depth of talent in Renfrewshire’s dance scene.
Ultrabeat, formed in Liverpool in 2002, are best known for hits such as Pretty Green Eyes, Feelin’ Fine, Better Than Life, Feel It With Me, Elysium (I Go Crazy), Sure Feels Good and I Wanna Touch You. Their breakthrough track Pretty Green Eyes peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart in 2003 and remains one of the defining Clubland anthems of its era.
The group have toured extensively and headlined major festivals and arena events, including sold-out shows at venues such as Glasgow’s Hydro. Their first-ever appearance in Paisley is expected to draw fans from across Renfrewshire and beyond, with organisers reporting that only a limited number of tickets remain.
The event is being billed as “A Very Merry Ultrabeat Christmas,” promising a high-energy night for Clubland fans and local clubgoers.
Organiser Darren Stevens told Renfrewshire News: “We’ve worked nonstop to bring Ultrabeat to Paisley, and we’re absolutely buzzing for our debuts! This is massive for the local music scene.
“Ultrabeat have rocked festival main stages and sold out the Hydro to tens of thousands — and now they’re live and exclusive at The Shuttle, Paisley, on Friday 5th December. This is going to be a night you’ll never forget.”
