Board game fans across Renfrewshire are being invited to roll the dice in 2026, with a packed calendar of friendly, free-to-attend gaming sessions confirmed in Paisley and Lochwinnoch.

Renfrewshire Board Gamers will be running regular sessions throughout the year, welcoming complete beginners and experienced players alike. All events are relaxed, social, and inclusive, with games provided and organisers on hand to teach newcomers how to play.

Weekly sessions will continue at Harvies Bar on Glasgow Road, Paisley, taking place every Thursday night, alongside an additional monthly meet on the first Monday of each month. The venue is dog-friendly and free to attend, making it an easy, low-pressure way to get involved.

Monthly sessions will also return to Skirlies Café on Broomlands Street, Paisley, held on the second Wednesday of each month, offering a slightly earlier start time for those who prefer a midweek wind-down.

A one-off special session is also planned at The Three Churches Inn in Lochwinnoch in January.

All sessions are free, open to all adults, and designed to be welcoming — whether you arrive with a favourite game or none at all.

For updates and last-minute changes, organisers recommend following the Renfrewshire Board Gamers Facebook Group.
