OneRen has warned that disabled parking bays at ON-X Leisure Centre in Linwood are continuing to be misused.
In a statement posted on 27th February 2026, the organisation said the spaces are strictly for Blue Badge holders and must not be used for pick-up, drop-off or waiting at any time.
The statement reads: “Unfortunately, we continue to experience misuse of the disabled parking bays at ON-X Leisure Centre. These spaces are strictly reserved for Blue Badge holders and must not be used for pick-up, drop-off or waiting at any time.
“Misuse prevents customers with valid Blue Badge permits from accessing the facility. Staff will be monitoring the area more closely and any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or customers will not be tolerated.
“We really appreciate the ongoing cooperation of the vast majority of our customers in helping keep ON-X accessible for everyone. ”

The ON-X Leisure Centre is in Linwood and is one of Renfrewshire’s main sports and leisure venues.
