Johnstone Burgh have confirmed a number of player departures after announcing Stevie Farrell as the club’s new manager.
The club revealed that Allan MacKenzie, Darren Christie, Evan Currie, Craig Menzies and Matty Grant have all left Keanie Park.
Goalkeeping coach Billy Peacock has also departed.
The announcement comes as former Stranraer and Dumbarton manager Farrell begins preparations for Burgh’s first season in the new Lowland League West following promotion.
A club statement said: “Johnstone Burgh FC can confirm that Allan MacKenzie, Darren Christie, Evan Currie, Craig Menzies & Matty Grant, along with goalkeeping coach Billy Peacock, have departed the club.
“We would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best for the future.”
Farrell appointment was announced on Monday afternoon and is expected to begin shaping his squad for the 2026/27 campaign in the coming weeks.
The club has still to confirm Farrell’s backroom team, with further announcements expected soon.
