Police are investigating after a man was seriously assaulted in Linwood on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to Oxford Drive at around 2.25pm on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026, following the incident.
The man attended hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed shortly after the incident and remains closed while officers continue their enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Tuesday, 23 June, officers were called to Oxford Drive, Linwood following the serious assault of a man.
“The man attended hospital as a precaution.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
