Children across Renfrewshire are being invited to take part in a summer of athletics after Kilbarchan AAC opened bookings for its 2026 TrackStars Summer Camps in Linwood.
The camps, aimed at children aged seven to 11, will take place at Kilbarchan AAC’s track within the ON-X grounds and offer five days of athletics coaching, games and activities led by the club’s coaching team.
Two camps are being held during the school holidays:
- Camp 1: Monday 20th July to Friday 24th July 2026
- Camp 2: Monday 10th August to Friday 14th August 2026
Sessions run from 10am until 4pm each day and include a variety of athletics disciplines such as sprints, jumps and throws, alongside relay races, team challenges and mini Olympic-style competitions.
Lunch is provided daily through a pre-order system.
The camps cost £130 per week and are designed for both children who already enjoy athletics and those looking to try something new while staying active during the summer holidays.
Kilbarchan AAC says places fill quickly each year and early booking is recommended.
