Linstone Housing Association has launched a gardening competition to encourage residents to get outdoors and show off their gardens this spring.

The competition is looking for what it describes as the “most loved, vibrant, and beautiful gardens” in the community.

Residents of all gardening abilities are invited to take part, whether they are planting for the first time or have been looking after their garden for years.

To help people get started, Linstone is offering free seed packets and a limited number of children’s gardening tool sets. These are available to collect from reception while stocks last.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

To enter, residents should take photographs of their garden and submit them by 31st August by email to general@linstone.co.uk. Entries should include the entrant’s name and address.
