A free family trail is returning to Paisley town centre this summer, with children invited to become official Brick Buddie Rangers as they search for colourful brick-built animals hidden in shop windows.
Paisley’s Brick Buddies Trail runs from Saturday, 27th June until Sunday, 16th August, giving families seven weeks to explore the town centre.
The trail begins with a story of a safari jeep carrying the Brick Buddies that crashes after hitting a bump, sending the animals tumbling across Paisley. Visitors are challenged to find each of the hidden characters and help guide them back to the safari jeep.
Trail leaflets and free activity sheets can be collected from leaflet racks in the Piazza Shopping Centre and Lagoon Leisure Centre before setting off on the safari adventure.
After completing the trail, participants can post their completed entry forms into the Brick Buddies post box in the Piazza Shopping Centre to be entered into a prize draw. Two children’s summer hampers are up for grabs.
Organisers are also encouraging families to take photos during the trail and share them on social media using the hashtag #PaisleySafariAdventure.
The free attraction has been created by Paisley First in partnership with Iconic Bricks and is designed to encourage families to explore the town centre throughout the summer holidays.
Whether the sun is shining or not, organisers say the trail offers a fun, free day out for families of all ages.
