Caremark has opened a new office in Elderslie to provide home care services across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
The office at 169 Main Road officially opened on Friday, 19th June 2026. The new branch will support both private customers and local authority referrals while creating new jobs in the area.
Caremark Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire will provide personalised care for adults who need support to continue living safely and independently in their own homes.
The branch will offer a range of services including elderly care, respite care, hospital discharge support, long-term care packages, live-in care, night care, companionship, and support for people living with dementia, disabilities and other long-term health conditions.
The branch is led by Managing Director John Thomson, who is recruiting care assistants to support customers across the region. Caremark said it is looking to build a local team and is also offering part-time roles for people looking for flexible hours.
John Thomson said: “With the local population expected to continue to rise over the next decade, demand for care at home is increasing, putting ever-growing pressure on our health and social care services. Our aim at Caremark Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire is to provide reliable, high-quality home help, companionship and live-in care to support individuals and families across our region.
“We are focused on building a team of care assistants who can deliver compassionate, personalised care to help our customers feel safe, comfortable and confident in their own homes. As a company, we will provide all our team with full training, both mandatory and specialist, so we can ensure the care we give is of the highest possible standard.”
The office was officially opened by Caremark CEO David Glover.
He said: “There is a clear and growing need for high-quality, locally led care across Scotland. By opening this latest branch, as part of our growing presence across Scotland, we hope to be part of the solution.
“Home care plays a vital role in helping people maintain their independence, while also supporting hospital discharge and reducing pressure on local services. John and his team are bringing Caremark’s experience, values and community-focused approach to Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire, and we are incredibly proud to support them as they begin making a difference to people’s lives.”
Caremark said the new branch is already accepting referrals and private customers.
