Update – Police Scotland: Gary Brown has now been traced and has been arrested in the Dumfries and Galloway area.
Detectives have issued an appeal to help find a man wanted in connection with a murder in Paisley on Friday night.
A 52-year-old woman was found dead and a 16-year-old boy is critical in hospital after police were called to a property in Penilee Road, Paisley shortly after 5pm yesterday.
It is thought the emergency services were alerted after residents living near to Ralston Community Sports Centre reported seeing a dog, running out of a house, covered in blood.
Gary Brown, 54 is thought to be dangerous and possibly armed and Police have advised the public not to approach Mr Brown, and instead dial 999 immediately if he or his vehicle are sighted.
The car he is thought to be driving is a blue Toyota Auris, registration number FE15 WNO.
Gary Brown is around 5’11” tall and has brown/grey hair.
