A body of a man has been pulled from the Black Cart River near Linwood.
The body was found near the Riverside Path adjacent to the A737 carriageway on the outskirts of Paisley around 6.20 pm on Saturday.
he man’s identity has not been released and the Police are currently treating the death as unexplained.
Last month another body was found in the same water.
A police spokeswoman said: “Inquiries are underway after the body of a man was found at around 6.20 pm on Saturday.
“The 41-year-old man was discovered at the Black Cart Water near a bridge at the A737.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death.”
