Paisley-based MJC LAW has appointed Nikkala Kelly as a Trainee Solicitor and promoted Courtney Convey to Trainee Legal Assistant.
Nikkala joins the firm after completing her undergraduate degree in Scots and English Law at the University of Strathclyde in 2025. She then completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.
She will begin her traineeship with the firm’s conveyancing team. She will be mentored by Associate Director and Conveyancing Solicitor Karianne Falconer.

Courtney joined MJC LAW as a Legal Secretary in August 2025.
She has now been promoted to Trainee Legal Assistant as she enters the fourth and final honours year of her law degree at the University of Strathclyde.
The role will allow Courtney to continue her studies while building on the practical experience she has gained since joining the firm.
