Cruden Homes has started work on a development of 90 homes on Kirkton Road in Neilston.
The plans include 66 homes for sale and 24 affordable homes. The homes for sale will have three or four bedrooms and include terraced, semi-detached and detached properties.
Work to prepare the site is under way. The first timber kits are expected to arrive in early 2027, with the first homes expected to be completed that summer.
The development will include new trees, drainage features and walking routes connecting the site to surrounding green space. Cruden says the planned road layout, access points from Kirkton Road and wider landscaping will be retained.
The homes will have air-source heat pumps and provision for electric vehicle charging.
Cruden said a historic standing stone on the site will be carefully removed during groundworks and later returned as a feature within the development.
