A resident of the Quarriers Renfrewshire Supportive Living Initiative, Christopher Graham, from Johnstone, will be pulling on his walking boots and doing a sponsored walk to help raise funds for a day out for all those supported by the service.

Christopher, aged 38, will be walking from Walkinshaw Street in Johnstone to Barshaw Park and back (approx nine miles) on Friday, 28th April 2023, with his team leader Caron.

The money he raises will be used toward organising a day out for everyone the service supports to Blair Drummond Safari Park and a garden party.

Christopher said: “I want to raise money so that everyone can get together for a day out. We are friends but we don’t get to see each other very often and it will cheer everyone up. I think the walk is a good way to keep fit and raise money at the same time. I’m hoping to have a stop at Barshaw park for a coffee and a cake before walking back.”

Quarriers Renfrewshire Supported Living Initiative helps adults with learning, physical disabilities or who have acquired a brain injury to live in their own homes within the community and supports them with all aspects of their daily living.

If you would like to support Christopher in his fund-raising effort you can donate to his JustGiving page. www.justgiving.com/Christopher-Graham25.
