LATEST UPDATE: Body of man found in Houston Square, Johnstone
Part of Houston Square in Johnstone Centre has been taped off by Police Scotland.
Four officers are currently guarding a small tent that has been erected close to the lone soldier statue.
Two officers have been posted next to the square’s entrance near an Iceland store and another two officers at a tapped cordon close to the main pathway.
It is unknown at this time what has happened, however Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
