Heavy and persistent rain is expected to continue into tomorrow as trains and roads have been affected by flooding in and around Renfrewshire.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain until 6am tomorrow.

It is expected not to be as heavy as it has been in the last 24 hours from 6pm tonight, however, rain should stay with us until Monday.

Scotrail is asking people to check with their website before they travel for the most up-to-date information.

Trains running through Renfrewshire down to Ayrshire have been the least affected services, they are, at times running late.

When you arrive at Glasgow Central from Renfrewshire, nearly all of the trains leaving Central and Queen Street have been canceled or have a major disruption.

If you’re traveling by car or bus in Renfrewshire, most roads have large amounts of surface water with a number of roads impassable. Expect delays.
