Erskine Veterans Charity has received a donation from Kilmacolm Golf Club Ladies Section.

Erskine Community Fundraiser Alison Sturgeon met with Lady Captain Judith Scholes and Committee Member Shelagh Palmer for a tour of The Erskine Home, which is based in Bishopton.

Later, on behalf of Erskine Veterans, Alison was delighted to receive an extremely generous donation of £900.

The donation had been raised when 60 players enjoyed an afternoon of bridge and afternoon tea beautifully presented by the clubs new Catering Manager, Angela. On the day, Liz Crichton was crowned the overall bridge winner.

Alison said: “Thank you to everyone who donated so generously and helped raise £900 for the Erskine Veterans Hospital”.
