Birkmyre take on Moffat this Saturday at Birkmyre Park in a crucial league match which could be defining in terms of overall league positions.
The home side currently sit in 3rd spot but with 3 games in hand against both their opposition this weekend, and league leaders Irvine. A victory on Saturday would take Birkmyre clear into second spot and depending on results elsewhere, may close the gap on the number one spot.
Birkmyre lost the away fixture to Moffat back in September 13-10 so will be looking for revenge this time around. Captain, Ross Moglia, commented “we were missing a number of key players back in September which did not hep out cause against a big, physical Moffat side. A number of the players also had to play out of position. We do, however, have more or less a full squad to call on this Saturday so we are confident of a far improved performance this weekend”
