Birkmyre Rugby Club to host kids’ open day and BBQ this Sunday

Birkmyre Rugby Club is inviting local youngsters to its free Start of Season Fun Day and BBQ this Sunday, 17th August, at Birkmyre Park in Kilmacolm.

The event, which runs from 11am to 1pm, is open to all primary school-aged children, whether or not they have played rugby before. Boys and girls from Primary 1 to Primary 7 are welcome to come along, meet new friends and try the sport in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Qualified coaches will be on hand to ensure children are placed in the right age groups and take part in fun, safe activities throughout the morning.

To round off the day, all participating kids will be treated to a free burger. Parents are encouraged to stay, watch, and socialise during the event.
