Car crashes into multiple vehicles on Well Street in Paisley

A white Peugeot car hit two vehicles after going out of control on Well Street, Paisley, on Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 9.20am on 25 August. The occupants of the vehicles were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police confirmed that a man in his 50s was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20am on Monday, 25 August, 2025, we were called to a three-vehicle crash on Well Street in Paisley. Officers attended and the occupants of the vehicles were taken to hospital as a precaution.

“The driver of one of the vehicles, a 50-year-old man, was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and enquiries are ongoing.”
