Drugs estimated to be worth up to £100,000 have been recovered following a police operation in Paisley.

Officers from Police Scotland attended a premises at Camphill Court around noon on Tuesday where a significant quantity of cannabis was discovered.

A 38-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and both were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025.

Detective Inspector Euan McMillan said: “This was a significant recovery, and it underlines our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities.

“It also reflects our ongoing work in support of the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Information from the public is vital to our efforts and I would encourage anyone with concerns about drugs activity to contact Police Scotland on 101, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
