Paisley will host its first Music and Arts Street Festival this summer.

The new family-friendly event will take place at Shuttle Street and Browns Lane on Saturday 22nd August, from 12pm until 9pm.

Entry is by ticket only, with early bird tickets priced at £15 plus booking fee. Standard tickets are £20. Children under 13 go free, with a maximum of two children per paying adult.

The festival will bring together live music, cabaret, arts and crafts, a kids zone, market stalls, community groups and food and drink across the town centre site.

The festival will feature four live music stages, a cabaret stage, arts and crafts, a kids zone with circus skills and games, a community zone, market stalls and food and drink.

Organisations involved include Browns Lane Market, The Bungalow, Shuttle, The Clubhouse, Jam Jar, Life Church, Lux Cabaret and Sma Shot Cottages.

The area will be licensed for the day, allowing ticket holders to move between the activities and venues.

Food and drink will be available from Jam Jar, Shuttle, Browns Lane, The Clubhouse, The Bungalow, an ice cream cart and more traders still to be confirmed.

Community Zone

Life Church will host entertainment still to be confirmed, while local community organisations will be on site to promote services and fundraising activities.

Market, arts and kids activities

Browns Lane Market will host arts and crafts, group paint-along sessions, craft activities and market stalls.

The kids zone at Browns Lane will include face painting, craft activities, circus skills and games.
