Police are appealing for information after two young boys were seriously injured in an incident involving an electric scooter in Paisley.

Officers from the Road Policing Unit in Helen Street, Glasgow, are continuing enquiries after the boys, aged 10 and 12, were found seriously injured in High Street at around 9.15pm on Monday 8th June 2026.

Both boys are currently receiving treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

Sergeant Adnan Alam said officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the boys on an e-scooter around the time of the incident, or who witnessed them crash or fall from the vehicle.

Police are also asking anyone with dash-cam footage or CCTV recordings that may have captured the incident to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3326 of 8th June 2026.
