Renfrewshire schools have been praised after all schools inspected over the past two years received positive grades.
Figures show 100 per cent of inspected schools achieved ratings of Good, Very Good or Excellent.
A quarter of all Excellent grades awarded in Scotland during this period were given to Renfrewshire schools.
Bargarran Primary School achieved an Excellent for Leadership of Change, while Glencoats Primary School achieved an Excellent for Learning, Teaching and Assessment.
Renfrewshire Council said the results highlight sector-leading practice taking place in local schools.
The area has also seen year-on-year improvement across all quality indicators from 2022-23 to 2024-25 and is performing above the national average in every quality indicator.
School inspections in Scotland are carried out using either a short or long model, with key areas assessed including leadership, learning and teaching, wellbeing, equality and attainment.
Councillor Emma Rodden, Education Convener for Renfrewshire Council, said: “All children and young people deserve the very best education and support to succeed. These inspection results show the strength and dedication of our schools and teaching staff. Achieving positive grades for all inspected schools is a fantastic achievement.
