A Paisley-based law firm is celebrating after being named a finalist in two categories at the Scottish Legal Awards 2026.

MJC LAW, based at Abbey Mill Business Centre in Paisley, has been shortlisted for both Excellence in Community Care & Social Responsibility and Firm of the Year (Up to 250 Employees).

The recognition comes as the family-run firm marks its tenth anniversary year.

The Scottish Legal Awards celebrate achievements across Scotland’s legal profession, recognising firms and individuals for excellence in legal services, innovation and contributions to their communities.

MJC LAW said the double shortlisting reflects the hard work of its team and the firm’s commitment to supporting clients and communities across Scotland.

Matthew Coffield of MJC LAW said: “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as finalists in two categories at the Scottish Legal Awards 2026.

“To be shortlisted for both Excellence in Community Care & Social Responsibility and Firm of the Year is a tremendous honour, particularly as we celebrate our tenth anniversary year.

“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication, compassion and professionalism shown every day by our incredible team. As a family-run firm, community values are at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to support individuals and families across Scotland through some of the most important moments in their lives.

“We would like to thank our clients, professional partners and local community for their continued trust and support.”

The winners of the Scottish Legal Awards 2026 will be announced later this year.
