André Rieu’s 2026 Maastricht concert will be shown on the big screen at cinemas in and around Renfrewshire for one weekend only on 8th and 9th August 2026.

The concert, Viva Maastricht!, was filmed live in Vrijthof Square in the Dutch violinist’s hometown of Maastricht and will be screened in more than 600 cinemas across the UK.

Local screenings will take place at Showcase Linwood and ODEON Braehead.

The concert marks 20 years since André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra first performed in Vrijthof Square. The programme includes music from My Fair Lady and Les Misérables, along with Gabriel’s Oboe and The Blue Danube.

Joining André Rieu on stage are the Platin Tenors, international sopranos and guest soloists. The cinema presentation will also include exclusive backstage access and an interview with André by broadcaster Charlotte Hawkins, available only to cinema audiences.

André Rieu said: “I am so excited to be performing our summer concerts in Maastricht for the 20th year this July! The unique atmosphere of the Vrijthof, which is the oldest square in the Netherlands, touches both heart and soul. It is fantastic that this concert will once again be shown in cinemas around the world in August, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as my orchestra and I do. Viva Maastricht!”

Tickets are on sale now, with the concert screening on Saturday, 8th August, and Sunday, 9th August 2026.
