Police taped off a convenience store and surrounding streets in Paisley’s Foxbar area after a man was assaulted.
Emergency services were called to Brediland Road at around 10.20am on Saturday, 11th July. Police cordons were put in place around Brediland Food Market (Londis) at 198 Brediland Road while officers carried out enquiries.
A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am on Saturday 11 July 2026, we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted on Brediland Road, Paisley.
“A 29-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Police remained at the scene as investigations continued.
