West College Scotland is inviting people who are waiting for their results or preparing to start college this August to attend a Clearing and Get Ready for College event.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 5th August, from 10am to 2pm, at the college’s Paisley, Clydebank and Greenock campuses.
It is aimed at people who are still deciding what to study, as well as students who have already secured a place and want to find out more about the support available before classes begin.
Visitors who are still considering their options can explore courses with places available and get help with their application on the day.
Those due to start college in August can speak to staff about their chosen subject and learn more about the services available to support them during their studies.
Student Advisory Services and Recruitment and Admissions staff will be available to offer advice on courses, entry requirements and next steps. IT facilities will also be available for anyone completing an application.
A Student Support drop-in area will include information from funding, wellbeing and counselling, enabling services for students with additional needs, library services and the Students’ Association.
There is no need to book. People can attend their nearest campus and speak to staff throughout the event.
