Paisley Town Hall is set to host one of the country’s spookiest events as Horror Con Scotland arrives for a two-day Halloween takeover.
Billed as Scotland’s scariest convention, the event will run on Friday 31st October from 5.30pm to 9.30pm (18+ only) and on Saturday 1st November from 12pm to 5pm for all ages.
Organisers will have exclusive use of the historic venue across the weekend, complete with horror-themed catering and a bar to set the tone.
Visitors can expect:
- Film screenings
- Costume, props and special effects zone featuring demos, displays and interactive workshops
- Performances and live entertainment from horror acts
- Traders, authors and artists alley with original artwork, books, collectibles and horror merchandise
- Photo ops, makeup sessions, Scottish filmmakers and independent stalls — plus free jelly beans for everyone
While Saturday is open to all ages, organisers stress the event is designed primarily for adults and parental discretion is advised. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Early-access tickets are already sold out, with only a limited number of general admission passes remaining. All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
