Miller Homes is helping make the streets of Paisley safer for children this autumn as it marks six years of its Home Safe initiative in the West of Scotland.
To mark International Walk to School Month, families are being invited to visit Miller Homes’ Thornly Park development in Paisley to collect free high-visibility vests, helping children stay seen on their journeys to and from school.
The Home Safe campaign, launched in 2019, works with local schools and nurseries to promote child pedestrian safety. More than 9,000 vests have already been donated across the West of Scotland.
Louise Caldwell, Sales Director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said: “Home Safe is a brilliant initiative that supports local nurseries and primary schools by keeping children bright and visible during the dark winter months. We hope that children can walk, cycle, or scoot to school more safely by wearing our high-vis vests, making them visible to drivers.”
Families can collect the free vests from the sales centre at Thornly Park, which is open from Thursday to Monday, 10.30am to 5.30pm.
