A prize draw offering tickets to see Scotland at the World Cup has been launched to support a Paisley man’s huge fundraising challenge.
Glasgow-based Octo Insurance Brokers has donated two tickets to Scotland v Morocco at the 2026 World Cup in Boston. Every penny raised will go to Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).
The draw is backing Craig Ferguson, from Paisley, who is currently walking 3,000 miles across the United States as part of his “Tartan Trek”.
Craig set off from Los Angeles in February and plans to reach Boston in time for Scotland’s opening match in June. He is aiming to raise £1 million for SAMH.
Entries cost £20, with all proceeds going towards his total. The draw closes on Thursday 28th May 2026.
Craig said the challenge is about more than the distance.
He said: “This is about opening the conversation around mental health and showing people they’re not alone.
“The support I’ve had so far has been incredible, and initiatives like this prize draw can make a real difference.”
Octo Insurance Brokers said the idea was to give people a strong reason to get involved.
Director Domenico Davis said: “It’s not every day you get the chance to see Scotland at the World Cup.
“If that can help raise vital funds for SAMH, then it’s a win-win.”

The company has also given Craig and his support driver, Matt Allan, tickets to Scotland’s opening game against Haiti.
Money raised will support SAMH’s services across Scotland, including its network of walk-in mental health hubs known as Nooks.
Hazel McIlwraith, SAMH’s Director of Fundraising, said the trek is an “extraordinary challenge” that will directly help people access support when they need it.
People can enter the draw online at www.samh.org.uk/prizedraw.
