Johnstone Burgh Community Club is continuing its weekly community yoga sessions at Keanie Park following a successful start.
The classes, delivered in partnership with Thrive and Belong CIC, take place every Thursday at 6.30pm on a “pay what you can” basis. People are also welcome to attend free of charge.
Sessions are planned to take place outdoors whenever possible after the club’s taster session proved popular. If the weather is unsuitable, the class moves indoors.
The first 12 people to sign up each week are guaranteed a place regardless of the weather. Additional participants will be contacted to confirm if outdoor conditions allow extra spaces.
Yoga instructor Lynsey said: “Delighted to be partnering with Johnstone Burgh FC on this brand new weekly community ‘pay what you can’ community yoga class.
“The plan is to practice outdoors as this went so well for our taster session! However, we have a contingency for our lovely Scottish weather and will move indoors if needed.
“The first 12 people to sign up will be guaranteed a space whatever the weather. And for everyone else who signs up we will confirm with you if the weather will permit an outdoor session, meaning that you have a space to join.”

She added: “All money raised will contribute towards the community work of Johnstone Burgh Community Club and Thrive and Belong CIC. There is absolutely no pressure to pay any amount though and it is fine to come along for free.”
