Renfrewshire residents are being invited to help shape the future of local services by taking part in a public consultation that will help set council priorities for the next five to 10 years.
The consultation, called Your Voice Matters, is being run jointly by Renfrewshire Council and the Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership. It opened on 10th June 2026 and will remain open until 30th November 2026.
The feedback will help inform the council’s new Council Plan, Community Plan and the Integration Joint Board Strategic Plan, which will guide decisions on local services, health and wellbeing, education, the local economy and the environment over the coming years.
The council says it wants to hear from residents, employees, local groups, businesses and partners about what matters most to them, what works well in their communities, what could be improved and where public money should be focused.
The consultation comes as the council says it faces financial pressures, a changing population and rising demand for services. It says difficult decisions will be needed about priorities, how services are delivered and where funding can make the biggest difference.
As well as completing the consultation online, residents will be able to speak to council staff at community events throughout the summer. Further in-person sessions will also be held later in the year with families, children, businesses, community groups and the cultural sector.
Once the engagement programme ends, the council will analyse the responses and publish a report on the findings in early 2027. The feedback will be used to help shape future priorities and local services across Renfrewshire.
People can take part in the consultation through the council’s website: Your Voice Matters consultation, here: https://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/consultations/help-shape-future-our-local-services-your-voice-matters.
