Tesco has extended its Kids Eat Free offer to weekends for the summer holidays, giving families more opportunities to claim free children’s meals at its Linwood store.
The offer is available at The Café in Tesco Linwood, the only Tesco café in Renfrewshire, and runs seven days a week until 1st September 2026.
Customers who scan their Tesco Clubcard can claim one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix Deal with the purchase of any full-price adult item. The adult purchase can cost as little as 65p, with Tesco using an apple as an example.
There is no limit to the number of free children’s meals that can be claimed, provided a qualifying adult purchase is made for each meal and a child is present.
The Kids Eat Free promotion runs from 25th June until 1st September 2026.
Children can choose from breakfast options including Egg & Soldiers, Beans & Soldiers and Pancakes. Main meal choices include Omega 3 Fish Fingers, Baked Chicken Strips and Pork Sausages. The Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix option includes a sandwich, drink, two snacks and a piece of fruit.
Tesco says it has also reduced the full price of children’s meals in The Café this summer.
Alongside the meal offer, Tesco has brought back its Free Fruit for Kids initiative. From 20th July until 30th August 2026, children can collect free apples at checkouts in more than 800 large Tesco stores and 77 large Tesco Express stores across the UK. Selected Click & Collect customers will also receive free apples for their children.
Claire De Silva, Head of Communities at Tesco, said: “We know that household budgets can be really stretched, especially over the long summer holiday, so offering free meals to children during this time is just one of the ways we can support families.”
The offer is available for dine-in only. Customers must use a Tesco Clubcard or the Tesco Clubcard app, and a child must be present to receive the free meal. Menu options may vary by store.
