Sewer repair works will begin on Station Road in Renfrew on Monday, 2nd November, with an eastbound lane closure expected to last several weeks.

Scottish Water said the works are required to carry out essential repairs to its infrastructure.

The eastbound lane will be closed between the Ferry Road and Station Crescent junctions so the work can be carried out safely. The footpath alongside the works will also be closed.

Scottish Water said the repair is complex and requires ongoing coordination with SPEN. It will continue to review progress as the work develops.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for the disruption this may cause and thank local residents, businesses, and road users for their patience and understanding while we complete these essential repairs.”
