Local councillor Mags MacLaren has called on community groups who require funding to look at Lotto funding.
The Big Lottery Fund’s ‘Awards for All’ fund is open to local community groups looking for funding up to £10,000. Renfrewshire Council’s Community Economic Development Team have organised an ‘Awards for All’ funding session between 1pm and 3pm on Friday 16th June at the InCube shops at 27 High Street, Paisley.
This informal information session will offer advice, information and tips to help people complete and Awards for All application. There will also be a Funding Officer from the Big Lottery Fund to provide extra information and one to one discussions with potential applicants.

SNP Councillor Mags MacLaren for Paisley Northwest said: “I would encourage anyone in a local community group to get along to the Awards for All funding session to see if they can access some funds for their group.
“Awards for All has been a great resource for many groups across Renfrewshire and Scotland looking for funds and I would encourage as many organisations as possible to try to get along to this event.
“Sometimes the application process for grants can seem quite daunting but this event allows potential applicants to hear more about the fund as well as receiving information on how best to complete an application for this fund.”
