Second man arrested in connection with attempted murder at bus stop in Johnstone

A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Johnstone.

A 16-year-old teenager was assaulted and stabbed at around 12.20pm on Wednesday, 13th September, 2023, close to a bus stop on Thornbrae across from the entrance to Thorn Court.

He was taken to hospital where medical staff described his condition as stable.

The 18-year-old man was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023.

We reported last week a man, also 18-years-old, had already been arrested and charged and appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday.
