A paramedic is accused of crashing an ambulance into a car.
Amanda Keenan, 35, allegedly drove without due care or attention in Glasgow’s Calton on 24th September 2023.
Court papers state that Keenan was employed as a paramedic at the time.
It is alleged that the vehicle’s emergency lighting and sirens were activated when she drove through a red light.
The charge states that Keenan, of Paisley, failed to reduce her speed or give way.
Allegations go on to say Keenan collided with an orange Kia Niro car.
Keenan pleaded not guilty today to the single charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
She was represented by her lawyer, Jacqueline White.
A further hearing is scheduled for later this month.
