Renfrew Cricket Club will host a David Barr Memorial Day and Kwik Cricket Festival on Sunday.
The event is a tribute to David Barr, a beloved club member and coach who passed away in January 2023 at the age of 92.
The day will feature a family-friendly cricket tournament, with matches organised based on turnout. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re keen to play or simply want to support the event and celebrate David’s legacy.
David was known for his decades of service to youth sport and cricket development across Renfrewshire.
Away from the pitch, there will be refreshments on sale and a raffle to raise funds for the club’s youth programmes.
