Police Scotland are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Bishopton on Saturday, 29th November.

The incident happened around 9pm, when a white BMW was found on fire in a car park to the rear of a premises on Greenock Road.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze and no injuries were reported.

Detective Constable Colin Leggat said: “The fire is being treated as wilful and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. Please also check any private CCTV or dash-cam that you have to see if anything has been captured that could help with our investigation.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3075 of Saturday, 29th November 2025.”
