A sex attacker who preyed on women and girls has been jailed for 11 years.
John Muir was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow after being convicted of a string of offences spanning more than three decades.
The abuse took place between 1987 and 2018 at locations across Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire.
Muir, now 63, molested and raped a girl, including assaults carried out while she was asleep.
He also indecently assaulted a woman when she was unconscious and therefore unable to consent to any sexual activity.
In addition, Muir repeatedly groped another girl and made indecent remarks towards her.
The court heard he later raped a second woman, during which he grabbed and restrained her.
Muir, of Barrhead, was found guilty of a total of 11 charges following a trial.
As well as being jailed, he was ordered to be supervised for three years following his release.
