St Conval’s Girls are back in training this week and are actively looking to welcome new players to their growing girls’ section.
The Linwood-based club is recruiting girls of all abilities, whether they are completely new to football or already enjoy playing the game. With a supportive setup and qualified coaches, the focus is on building confidence, skills and teamwork in a fun environment.
A number of friendly matches are planned across all age groups over the next two months, with more games able to take place as new players join and squads continue to grow.
To encourage anyone thinking about giving football a try, the club is offering the first month free, making it easy for girls to come along, get involved and see if it’s for them.
Training sessions take place in Linwood, and the club says it is looking forward to welcoming both returning players and new faces as the girls’ section continues to develop.
