Arthurlie have confirmed the signing of attacker Leo McCartney on a deal until the end of the season.

The club announced the move on Wednesday evening welcoming McCartney to Dunterlie Park as they look to add attacking options for the remainder of the campaign. The forward arrives with experience from previous spells in the Scottish game and will go straight into contention for upcoming fixtures.

Elsewhere, Auchinleck Talbot have secured a major boost by tying down striker Connor Boyd to a new contract until June 2028.

Boyd, who is both Talbot’s leading scorer and the current Scottish Gas Scottish Cup top goalscorer, signed the extension earlier this week. The deal ensures one of the club’s key attacking figures remains in place as Talbot prepare for a crucial period that includes their upcoming Scottish Cup clash with Celtic.
