Reform UK has confirmed candidates in all three Renfrewshire constituencies ahead of the Scottish Parliament election on Thursday 7th May 2026.

Alec Leishman will stand in Paisley, a seat currently held by the SNP. Leishman represents the Erskine and Inchinnan ward and previously defected from the Conservatives to join Reform UK.

Jamie McGuire has been selected for the new Renfrewshire West and Levern Valley constituency. He left the Labour Party last year, a move that drew attention locally.

Moira Ramage will contest Renfrewshire North and Cardonald. She is a former Scottish Labour candidate and previously stood in the Paisley and Renfrewshire South constituency.

All three candidates were confirmed at the party’s Scottish conference in Bishopton.

All three Renfrewshire constituency seats are currently held by the SNP, meaning Reform UK will be aiming to make gains across the area.
