Hundreds of people turned out for Renfrew Gala Day as Robertson Park came alive with sport, music and family entertainment.
The annual event celebrated Scotland’s Summer of Sport, with children, families and community groups joining professional performers in a sports-themed parade through the town before making their way to the park.
Once in Robertson Park, visitors enjoyed a packed programme of entertainment across two main stages, organised by Fitzpatrick School of Music and Rachel Elliot. Local dancers and musicians performed throughout the day, providing a showcase for community talent.
There was also a wide range of activities for all ages, including face painting, football sessions, BMX workshops, circus skills, tennis coaching and rugby activities.
Food vendors and community stalls were on hand throughout the event, while the funfair and inflatable attractions proved popular with younger visitors.
The gala day offered something for everyone and brought the community together for a day of sport, entertainment and family fun in the heart of Renfrew.
