Johnstone Burgh will begin their Scottish Lowland Football League West campaign at home to Troon on Wednesday night.
The match at Keanie Park will be Burgh’s first competitive home game of the season and their debut in the league.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm on Wednesday 29th July 2026.
Stevie Farrell will take charge of Burgh for his first competitive match after being appointed manager during the summer.
His side enjoyed a positive pre-season, including a 2-0 win over St Roch’s.
Burgh finished sixth in the West of Scotland Premier Division last season before securing their place in the new league.
Summer signings include goalkeeper Brett Long and striker Thomas Orr.
The squad also includes Kyle Lafferty, Mark Durnan, Kristopher Kerr, Scott Forrester, Broque Watson and Del Esplin.
Troon have already played one league match this season. They lost 2-0 away to Pollok on Saturday.
Nathan Baird and Evan Ferguson are available again after returning from holidays.
Clayton Hood is unavailable, while Leyton Dunlop, Jack Allan and Ben Armour are expected to miss the match through injury.
Jack Sherrie remains out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, while Mark Morrison is continuing his recovery from hip surgery.
The sides won one match each against each other last season.
Troon won 2-0 at Keanie Park in April, while Burgh recorded a 2-1 victory at Troon in December.
Mark Daly will referee Wednesday’s match, assisted by Michael McCart and Rhys Brown.
Admission costs £12 for adults and £7 for concessions. Under-16s can attend free.
The Burgh Bar will be open to all supporters. The kitchen, snack bar and merchandise shop will also be open.
Supporters travelling by car have been asked to be mindful of residents near the ground. Traffic wardens are expected to be in the area.
