A foodbank collection will take place at St Mirren FC this Saturday as supporters are encouraged to donate ahead of the club’s Premiership match against Dundee.
Renfrewshire Foodbank will be stationed at the stadium gates from 1.30pm until 3pm on Saturday, 31st January, collecting food donations and cash to support local families facing crisis across Renfrewshire.
Fans attending the match are being asked to bring along a tin, a bag of shopping, or a small cash donation before kick-off. All contributions will go directly towards helping people in the local community who are struggling with the cost of living.
Organisers say the collection is open to everyone attending the match, regardless of team colours, and stress that every donation, big or small, can make a real difference.
The collection will take place outside the stadium gates in the build-up to kick-off, making it easy for supporters to donate as they arrive for the game.
