Police are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Paisley.
Officers were called around 6.55pm on Monday 27th April 2026 following reports of a silver Vauxhall Corsa on fire in Ferguslie Park Avenue.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The incident is being treated as wilful fire raising and enquiries are ongoing.
The suspect is described as a white man wearing a black gilet, a grey T-shirt and shorts. He was seen riding a bicycle.

Detective Constable Colin Leggat said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area or who may have dash cam or private CCTV to get in touch.”
