Riverbrae Early Learning and Childcare Centre has received top grades following its latest inspection by the Care Inspectorate.
The additional support needs (ASN) nursery was awarded Very Good for both Leadership and Support for Children to Achieve. It also received a Good grading for Play and Learning.
Inspectors praised the strong leadership and teamwork at the nursery. They said staff have created a culture of continuous improvement, which has led to high-quality practice.
The report found that children are thriving through the play and creative experiences on offer. It said the nurturing and inclusive environment helps children develop confidence, independence and key early learning skills.
Inspectors also highlighted the knowledge of staff and their commitment to ongoing learning. They said effective planning and transition arrangements are in place to support children’s wellbeing.
The Care Inspectorate is responsible for inspecting nurseries across Scotland. Inspections assess the quality of learning opportunities and the safety and wellbeing of children.
